Hemphill is partnering once again with a long-time, highly reputable client, a well-known and successful company in the heart of Omaha, to help them through a particularly busy season. Whether your background is in financial accounting, corporate tax, or public accounting, this company has a great track record of bringing in talented accounting and finance professionals and training them on the tax work. This is a great opportunity to join a warm, collaborative, and supportive team and contribute to a meaningful, long-term project! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is currently between jobs, an early retiree who still has “the itch,” or someone looking for a flexible, part-time position. The company is eager to accommodate either a full-time or part-time schedule!
This organization is in the midst of a large internal project that has pulled several members of the tax team away from their core responsibilities. Rather than asking their internal team to take on the extra workload, the tax leadership team has decided to bring in an experienced tax professional on a consulting basis for the next 12 - 18 months.
The groundwork has already been laid and this company knows exactly what needs to be done, so you will feel very supported and set up for success for this project - from already written out clear instructions, to sitting nearby and working closely with the tax team, you will be supported and set up for success.
This company is eager to identify a local professional who can be on-site at their corporate office; however, they are very open to working around your schedule. Whether you prefer full-time or part-time hours during this long term steady engagement, they’ll happily accommodate for the right person and are certainly appreciative for your help!
